Hello everyone.
I just installed Johnson Rods on my 2016 LR4.
I installed the first Johnson Rod on the front, left wheel. After doing so, I hopped out, turned the car on, and put it in off road height. I wanted a bit more room to work for the next three Johnson Rods.
I installed the other three Johnson Rods in about 7 minutes...no problems with any of them.
I then started up the truck, and put it in normal mode, and drove around the block.
At first, I got an Amber "Suspension Fault" indicator. That went away after a little bit.
Then...I got a Red "Suspension Fault" indicator. The car went down to what I assume is Access Height...but it seems very low. It limits me to 30 miles an hour - not that I can go any more than 5 mph. The truck is VERY bouncy.
With the truck on, I press the ride height toggle..and I get no adjustment and I do not hear the compressor working. The car also beeps audibly when I press the toggle button.
My guess is that the compressor is overheated...or that it is blown. God, I hope not the latter.
Any comments, help, thoughts, would be very much appreciated. From the looks of it...people put these rods on constantly but I don't read much about like what I am experiencing.
Thanks!
