Check to see if the CATS are glowing.... sounds like your cats may be going bad.

I hope not...lol... I cleaned the MAF and cleaned the STEPPER MOTER both really really good, the moter had all sorts of black gunk in it..and that seemed to fix the problem..I drove around for a while and got the engine all nice and warm, and it seemed like it was running better and better as I was going... So I really hope that all it wiil take..But my SES light is still on..could that just be an emission thing?

How many miles?

If under 86k, then probably not the Emissions...

Depends on if you have a sawszaw (spelling) and a mig welder? Or if you want to spend the almost $800 on a new 'Y' pipe.

As far as I am aware, there are only a couple companies that make Y pipes for the Rover and unless you buy used, you not going to find them for $350 - 400... but I have been wrong before.

I would recomend finding a good muffler shop (I don't mean Midaz or similar chain), a nice out of the way shop that just thinks Land Rover is made by toyota.... Ask them to fit in two new cats. Should cost more than $200 that way.
