I got some headliner sag in the back on mine, so I was thinking of slicing in the corners and pulling back the fabric to spray some 3M 77 adhesive on it. I will be watching the headliner portion for sure, you popping in a new one or doing DIY repair?
A;lso I noticed the VT emblem on the back, I sent two kids thru VT and live in VA, small world I guess.

Local upholstery shop quoted $175 to redo it for me. So I will let them have that frustration. Apparently it would have been a lot more if they had to pull it

Yeah that's not my truck with the VT sticker that's some guy with a stock-ish truck and sticker fetish that decided to post his pictures in my thread lol

who was the local shop? I've got some water damage in the roof linning on mine and was wondering who would redo for a reasonable price.

Still have to figure out how to get that sucker out though...

After the control arm bushings maybe I'll go that route too. I would never be able to get it right, at least its in the back of the vehicle.

They said maybe today but probably Monday for pick up. I spent a few extra and they are redoing the sun visors as well.

I'll post up my thoughts once I get the finished product back in my hands

Found more mold obviously. Also found the padding is wet and the trucks carpets were a hot mess. That's the reason we are pulling the console tomorrow so the carpet can come out for a very good cleaning and drying out

Today's update was we actually got some time to work on it. That stupid headliner is finally out! There was much celebrating

From there we removed a couple more pillar trims and got started on the console. It is absolutely amazing how few tools you need to get this deep into the interior of a LR3.

Need to figure out how to pop this connector loose on the shifter and don't want to break anything in there.

So for those playing along at home it has a little lever lock on that connector that swings down and pushes the connector free. Oonce that was loose the console popped right out. A learning point here is you don't have to really disassemble the console that much to get it out. Lid can stay on. There is two torx bolts on the sides near the back under little vented covers. Two bolts under the front area in the area below the ashtray. Yout have to pop the gray surrounds in the shifter cup holder area and that is pretty much it except for a lot of wiring.

Once that was free the back carpet came right out, in all it's disgusting glory. It was still wet underneath which shocked the heck out of me. Slid a hand under the front half and it was soaked to.

Haven't quite figured out how the lower center dash comes out so we can get the front carpet free. Maybe tomorrow... After I clean that funky carpet to see if it can be saved

Also the boxes in the corner are a pair of dunlop air struts from the gent's at Lucky8.

This is a great thread you're doing, thanks!!! Question....did you consider the Arnott Industries replacement air springs? I started using them after my 4th failed LR air spring. Unlike the 1 year warranty on the LR springs the Arnott springs have a life time warranty...... and they were a better quality product.

Keep up the good work....Looks like you'll have lots ahead of you sir.

cheers!
