LR4 vs MDX "Ride" on washboard and moderately rough roads?

i think the lr4 handles remarkably well on washboards......my brother in law was just recently commenting on how well my LR4 handled on some back roads, he drives a ford f150. you def don't wanna put in off road suspension height mode unless you have to because it really stiffens up the suspension........

This is all helpful. My follow on question is related. I have heard many say how much they like the ride of the LR4. So what does that mean? Like the ride compared to what?

I was surprised that my Disco II, with it's off road prowess, would shake my fillings loose when traversing washboard. I was hoping that the LR4’s air suspension would be better.
Would any of the Traction Control settings soften the suspension, so as to mitigate the jarring on washboard??
