Just wondering if anybody knows how a disco would run with no 02 sensors? My truck is running super rich, belching black smoke and wont stay running because of high idle and seemingly super rich running. Is this because the missing 02 sensors or do I have more problems? Thanks for any info!!!!

Joey I really appreciate the info what happens if the cats are fried already can it run without them or am I gonna have to rob a bank to replace that as well? We dont have the emissions laws they do most places and I've had alot of freinds put straight pipes in place of cats but none of them had a landrover. The guy who scammed me into buying this truck could of burnt out the cats a long time ago.

If in the USA it is a Federal law for Cats (but what you do in you own garage I can't be blamed for). You will still need the front 2 O2 sensors in order for the ECU to provide the correct fueling levels.

Hi;

If you want to see what a decent de-cat system looks like - check out my pix - that will give you the basic view.
