Welcome to the forum. The LR4 is capable of both without making changes. Just remember if you go off the main road into the back woods, always have another vehicle with you and tow strap and basic first aid/water/food just in case. 99% of the time you will never need anything. But like everything else going on in the world, if you don't have it you will wish you did.
