Joey's right (took me forever to post again on this) -- 1 coil per 2 cylinders. And disconnect that negative terminal from the battery, because you will fly quite a distance when you receive enough amps and volts.

Joey/Andy,
I bought the coil and want to swap it with the faulty one.

My question is, do I have to connect the screws on the bottom to anything?

See my poor illustration attached (I drew the screws in question on red ink).

The reason for my question is that I want to connect the wires from the spark plugs to the top of the coil 2-by-2 until I find the faulty coil, but I don't want to mount the coil until I find the bad one.

Thanks again

Still haven't fixed Martin's issue.... he is changing a couple more parts out... I am still thinking it is fuel related, but not for sure (not much time to look at and it was dark).

The coil needs to be grounded, so I would attach at least one screw... when cylinder is it saying it is missing on... you should be able to find the right coil by the cylinder issue.

Okay, more news: before the mechanic got a chance to change the coil, he noticed the Catalytic Converter is overheating and could be melting.

Do I need to replace them or can I flush them to get them cleaned up and keep them?
