Series III 109 questions

I am looking to get a refurbished series III 109 3 door from http://www.landrovercentre.com/ but I wanted to get your input on using it as a daily driver. I only travel around town but do tend to hope on the highway. If the speed limit is around 65 mph are people going to be blowing past me or will the series III keep up? Let me know your opinions or options to look into. thanks

down here in australia the highest speed limit is 110km/h
my 1982 stage one can do that on 32 inch tyres, but its revving pretty hard which adds to the already high noise levels associated with a garden shed being hurled through the air at such velocity.

it also gets the speed wobbles at anything over about 95km/h
this is okay, as with the standard 4 speed gearbox, this is about peak economy

the questions are:
what engine?
overdrive fitted? if not - thats an option to look into
mileage?
all these will affect your rover's athletic ability
but lets face it, they weren't build to go fast, just anywhere
