service engine light on and off

can anyone help me with this one day it will be on and a few days later it will turn off how can I reset this?

If it is reseting itself, then whatever is causing it to go off stops happening. The odds are it is either the gas cap not tight enough or you may have some other odd issue. When the light comes on have it checked and let us know what the codes are.

ok, i have the service engine light on, will not come off, its the not check engine light so computer readers arnt working, so no codes...
