side veiw mirrors

Just traded my 94 RRC for a 97 RR se. My side veiw mirrors are freaking me out but I think i've narrowed it down to when I put it into reverse the mirrors on both sides right and left turn down. When I put it into drive they both move up. Is this normal?

Yes, this is normal... it does this to improve your view of the rear tires and just behind your vehicle.

So if I wanted to turn it off is there a preset or fuse i can remove. Having your mirrors move when you are backing up is really irritaiting.

Not sure if this can be turned off or not, but if it can I am sure it will require a visit to the dealer.
