Anyone have any info on if/when the diesel version of the LR3 will be introduced in the US? I heard that LR wasn't selling the diesel version in the because of the low quality diesel that was being sold in the US, but with the new diesel fuel quality requirements in the US (legislation passed in October I think?) I was wondering if LR had plans to bring the diesel version to the US. I really like the styling of the LR3 but the really low fuel economy makes me hesitant to buy one. The greater fuel economy the diesel offers (30mpg average) would make the purchase decision a lot easier.
