Steering issues

My LR3 feel like I can not control it sometimes no, I have not been drinking
It drifts all over the road. Worse on the highway. Not to mention braking.
It pulls to the left hard and to the right hard sometines.

Not a comfortable right at all. I just started noticing it. Tire pressure is ok.

I called the dealer and she is going in, but I have already had one allignment done on her two months ago.

My LR3 has about 5K on her.

Another recent problem, and I am not sure it is due to the cold.
The info center , the one that gives the mileagle, trip counter etc., is displaying all kinds of error messages

HDC Fault
Transmission Fault
Parking Break Fault

It beeps, but then the messages go away.

Welcome to the Lucas gremlins... Both my Freelander and now the LR3 experience these "phantom messages" from time to time but they almost always correct themselves as soon as I pull up near a dealership

with the cold, mine too will display HDC fault. Dealer said that they are having a lot of problems with LR3s and these type errors in the cold. I guess LR only went around the equator in their "around the world" testing of the truck.

The only time my LR3 gave me those messages, all at once I might add, was because my (locking) rear differential needed replaced. This was a known issue at that time. ...not sure yours would be subject to the same bad part supply.

Regarding the pull, I have a similar experience, but not as pronounced as you describe.

Need to look at alignment obviously. It can be in "spec" but still have a pull, so need to have them adjust to road conditions. Sounds like excessive front toe.

Also could be bushings getting softer after break-in. You go offroad? Mine started this after doing some intermediate level offroading.

She went into the shop.
They had to replace the battery! ***!!!
I have not had any message problems since.

The did yet another alignment. She has had three since I bought her last year!

Seems to be better, but she still pulls every now and then when I hit the brake.

I'll keep everyone posted!

My old 95' Wrangler with a 6 inch lift and 36' tires rode better.

If it is doing more when braking, maybe a stuck/sticky caliper.
