I have a 95 Disco with the stock tire size...

Im looking to upgrade to 245-70-16. I hear it may require some minor trimming. What does the trimming consist of? Do I have to trim the actual fender metal?
I do not have fender flares to cover up any cutting that may be required.

I guess my question is, if the cutting is really necessary and if there may be other alternatives.. I cant figure out why this tire size would not fit perfectly..

Any feedback appreciated..

Thanks

for 245-70-16, it should not require any trimming unless you plan to go off roading. If you do, you can either trim or pull out the rear portion of the fender (behind the rear tire) around an inch.
