anyone tried these 265/65/18 Tread Wright Guard Dog M/T's? the price is pretty sweet at $120 per tire. they should work with the rod mod full time. the diameter is 32.2" according to the web site. tire size calculators however put the 265/65/18s at about 31.6" which is right at the size of my curent zeons. i would assume they would still turn in the setting of a suspension fault resulting in lowering to the bump stomps. any thoughts?

looks good, interested in learning more. Anyone know how thick the sidewall is?

i have come close to pulling the trigger on the duratracs 2 or 3 times now. i'm just not sure of what might happen if i have a suspension fault out in the boonies.

I have 5 or 6 friend here in Denver that are running that tread design as well as a couple other tread styles, and they all seem to like them.
As for the side walls, you can order what ever tire carcass you want, most go for the BFG MT if it is available in that size, that will give you a 3 ply side wall.
