Just went b the LR store to check on the progress of my car. I thought is was shocked prior, but not like now. They have completely removed everything, the only thing left is the back seat area. As the tech said I am sure you did not want to see it like this.

I asked him about potential electrical issues, as you would think he said he did not expect any.

The problem they finally found was when someone, them, blew out the drain lines they blew them so hard they were all detached and the water was just pouring in.

Has anyone experienced anything like this and should I be worried about potential electrical issues.

PLEASE ADVISE

Sorry to hear that gmoney. I missed the initial post about why the car was in the shop. What happened?

below is the orginial post:
___________________________________

This weekend my wife and I were driving to dinner, she asked me why the floorboards were so wet, and DAMM were they wet, , we had just had a pretty hard down pour, no windows open or sunroof.

A scary picture, I went by a few minutes ago to pick something up from the car and the ENTIRE thing was pulled apart, seats out front and rear, part of dash and console were out, all the carpet and padding out.

I sure hope they put this back together carefully…

Has anyone seen this happen before? What could have caused this; it is at the dealer as we speak.

Sounds like the A-pillar water leak problem that some of the 2005's were susceptible to. That would explain the water and electrical issues.
