What do you guys think had gone wrong here?

To me, the start looks like it's a setup for a video. Looks like the first driver hits his brakes right before hitting the water, killing all his momentum. Probably trying to create a "stuck" situation to generate some drama.

Then they attempt the kinetic strap business with far too little room to make it work. Second driver hits the off-camber hill with the strap pulling towards the back right, and tips the thing over. These vehicles appear far too top-heavy.

Vehicle 2 should have just winched vehicle 1 out from the get go.

These guys are entertaining. After this clip I watched one of them chasing bulls through the brush and then one where they capsize their boat and their quadbike goes to the bottom of the crocodile-infested river. Then they manage to rescue the thing!
