Who has rear tail lamp guards? Two installation questions/help requested.
Hello,
I am running into a concern that I am not lining up the lamp guard correctly to the sheet metal. The reason is that the bracket that I need to line up hits a "lip" on the sheet metal near where I need to drill the 10mm hole and it's gouging away at the paint.
As such, would one of you please take a pic of your installed rear tail lamp guard at this angle? (the pic is of the left rear tail lamp).
Because of the lip, it is causing me to leave a visible space between the lamp guard and the exterior sheet metal (that one could visually see post-install). So should this space be ok or should the plastic of the lamp guard be physically touching/pressing against the exterior sheet metal after install?
Thanks in advance!
