Wipers

Anyone tried and been successful in switching from rain-sensitive wipers to normal intermittent control? Manual states dealer can change, but I've gotten the runaround. Live in Seattle where wiper control is "important", and the auto feature wipes way to often for those drizzly days.

move the arm down one level and it will shut off rain sensor?
