I was replacing the footwell bulb on my passenger side, and the wire harness popped off and went up inside the dash. I had to remove the lower cover to get it back, and when I did I noticed a broken wire under the kick panel. My first inclination was to fix it, and I can’t identify that anything wasn’t working previously. Anyone know what this wire might be for? Looks to be pink with red stripe. Thanks in advance!

Have you checked all of the rear lights?

On my previous vehicle that’s where the power ran to the tail lights.

Maybe it’s something similar?
If you’re curious, the car might throw a code that you can read with an IID Tool. Mine has a code because I pulled a relay to keep my power ports powered at all times.

I didn’t have any random codes and everything seemed to work ok. Can’t recall any lights not working, or anything of the sort. I reconnected it, and everything seems ok. So odd…
