Best place for gearing?
I'm back! as of tommorrow I will have a 91 RRC. I am looking to put a 2" OME lift and maybe 265/75R16s. Will these tires fit? I assume I need to re gear and would like to know where I can get the best deals on a set of 4.10. Thanks Justin- JJMyerz

Building a Rangie into a reliable vehicle.
I used too own a disco and got rid of it because of the many problems it had. Longer roof rails /rack
I saw a D2 with longer roof rails / rack today and would like to know if these are available for D1s or if they can be fitted? Or maybe I can get D2 rail thingys and put those on a D1? My surfboard and snowboard carrying would work out so much better if I had these. Thanks Justin -
Oil Cooler Removal
Aparently LR took these coolers out in '02 because they were causing more harm than good with the leaks that occured. One can get blanking plugs to plug the holes on a D1 and delte this system all together.... Opinions? Justin -

I need your broken hoses
Does anyone have any old PS pump hard lines, oil cooler lines or coolant hard lines? Mine are leaking and I found a place locally that will make them...problem is I need to take mine off... So, anyone have their old leaky ones hanging around they would like to give me? Thanks Justin -

As many of you know PIAA makes a super cool windshield wiper blade setup that works uber well. But at $40 for a set is it really worth it? Well, you can buy replacement blades for $15 / set. Get Refill pack 8. They will slip right into a stock D1 wiper setup. Justin -

SRS Light Woes
So the SRS light popped on after my crash. Now the autobody shop says that since it is a rangie that the only place in town that can read the codes is a rover dealer. Great. They are claiming its not from the crash, they think it might be the clockspring. If I send it to rover and it turns... -
Wrecked the Rover
Yea... So I'm fine no worries. The other car, well a '85 2wd toy pickup doesn't hold up so well when she pulls out in front of me out of nowhere. The rover Grill Guard, Bumper, Pass Fender, and Hood are all psuhed in just enough to probably warrant replacements. The Rover veers hard right... -

It's Official...

Storage Help
Since I decided not to sell the rover and buy a truck I need some help with storage. Currently I have a yakima rack to carry my surf / snow boards and Mt Bike but I need more. I'm a photographer and find myself carrying lots of light stands, lights, cameras etc so I need the room of a roof... -
Well, its done!
Got the pan back on and torqued down. Only time will tell if it will stop the leak. I also added a quart of Lucas to the oil system so hopefully that will ease the ticking. BTW, does this stuff act instantly or over time? Thanks Justin -
I dropped the oil pan and found...
Nothing but chunks of oil pan gasket! But the hard line with the screen that goes into the pan was about 80% clogged with chunks of the gasket. Can I simply unbolt those two bolts to take it off and give it a proper cleaning? Thanks Justin -
One last oil pan question
When changing the gasket, am I too put RTV on both sides of the gasket or just one? Thanks Justin -
Stock Size Shocks
Does OME or Bilstein make a good stock length shock? I've got the yellow bilsteins on now and hate them. I'm thinking about not lifting the truck at all but would like to tune up the suspension a little, its pretty soft as it sits. Thanks Justin -

Pop Goes the Sun Roof
So there I was, closing up for the night and my rear sun roof made the most god awefull sound when closing. I fairly ceratin the cable broke, luckily it broke right after it closed. So now all I can do is open it for venting purposes, which is fine but still sucks. Justin -

245/75-16s Questions
Since I'm not in the mood to spend over $1000 on gears, I've decided to get 245/75s. I think they will be fine with stock gears. Anyway, I'm planning on running a 1" Spacer lift and the rubber D2 isolators that give about .35" or so. Will this be enough? Can I get OME shocks to fit this...
