So just to clarify, just the muffler was cut out and straight SS pipe was welded in? Can you take pictures underneath the car please?

That's correct. Since the stock muffler is a dual in/dual out muffler, it was replaced by TWO pipes (of course) which were welded in. I will try to get some pictures for you tomorrow!

Spoonito- some photos for you.. sorry for the quality. I hope this helps!

Photo 1: the main resonator which is just in front of the muffler (taken just for perspective)
Photo 2: the muffler (which was removed).
Photo 3: the new straight pipes (the cleaner, newer looking pipes obviously) which were welded into the location where the muffler was. Not sure why this photo is uploading sideways.

Bushway, great work and thanks for posting the videos.
Your risk made an easy decision for my 06 LR3 and was the best $60 spent this morning at a local weld/muffler shop.
I haven't noticed any changes in shifting/backpressure at all today and it is very much a nice deep sounding exhaust note.

Thanks again and beautiful rig!

Great meeting you this weekend. Now you have me thinking of doing this to my truck. The sound is amazing!
