Tip for putting it back in. Get 2 long bolts same thread as the bellhousing/engine bolts. Cut the heads off, thread them in opposite sides of engine, and use to guide the trans back on. Double check where you are placing them, that you have room for them to protrude toward the trans side. After trans is in place and have a few other bolts started you can remove and replace with the correct bolts.

Good luck!

Great tip. Thank you

Alright, so had a bit of time this am, have almost everything removed except transfer case and transmission.

No major headaches getting stuff out. Trying to video document everything.

Removed exhaust
Removed crossmember
Removed drivelines

Now to remove starter
Unbolt torque converter
Remove Transfer case
Remove transmission

Access is tight for transfer case so may loosen transmission and tilt down for access to remove transfer case

Caffery's Irish Ale, although with this job I recon 48 floz won't be enough lol

Not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure!!!! Hit my first snag. There’s a 13mm adapter in the manual- this is an extension to get enough leverage on the transfer case to transmission bolts (assuming transmission as well). About 3.5 hours so far on removal.

No more updates until Friday. Traveling for work the rest of the week. Dang work getting in the way
