I know there are several threads regarding the black squiggly filaments in the RR windshield and in many instances they cause some problems for drivers and passengers alike. My brain cannot adapt to looking through the lines and is causing me eye strain and vision headaches. Crazy right? But I cannot get it to work in my head. Question: Is there an after-market windshield that can be installed in a 2017 Range Rover that does NOT have the heated filaments? Has anyone done this? I live in CA, so the heated windshield serves no purpose for me.

I understand the re-sell value of the standard equipment, but I will have to sell the car (probably at a huge loss) if I cannot get a non heated windshield. Any help is sincerely appreciated! Thanks!

I know this is an old post... Anyway, I have a 2011 RRS that spent most of its life in California. It does not have the heated windshield from the factory. I wish I did though :). Nevertheless you can just have yours replaced for a non heated version and remove the fuse for the heated windshield. I think there are two of them.

I hope this helps.
