    Right under the engine cover. You will have to rebuild it, it is not a one peice thermostat. It is inside a small manifold with four bolts holing it on. Usualy what happens is the O-ring seal around the inner plate creases.

    Leaking from the bleeder valve is common. It's located next to the EGR valve. Its a plastic part and gets very hot. I have yet to see one leak to the point of causing overheat though. It is usualy a very, very slow leak.
