Here is the story in a nutshell..
My wife and I have an 02 Freelander with about 78k on it. We were in the midst of selling it to a friend when we found out about the dreaded timing belt issues.
We were told they hadnt busted yet but eventually do in all freelanders. We didnt have the money or desire to fix this and we have sinced stored it. I would love to sell it to anyone who wants to buy it and fix it, buy it and hope it doesnt break, buy it and use it for parts! Whatever works! The car is still in great condition, it is blue with the tan leather interior. I am asking 2,800 but am willing to negotiate. Thanks for your time.
