I’m 86 and can’t drive any longer and want to sell my 2916 LR4 HSE. . C 55 k miles, I had the crossovers and water pump replaced prophylactically at 50k. Rear brake lines replaced a few months ago. There is now apparently a slow coolant leak according to Indie, Very clean, no body damage, cherry interior black leather seats, with additional set alloy rims/scorpion tires. Recent (20 miles) oil change. Located in New Hampshire, I haven’t driven it in a year except back from Indie.
Clean title, original owner. Always well maintained at local Indie. I’m open to serious quick offers. I’m not well enough to deliver or try to deal with any further work so am selling as is, where is.

Yes, i haven't been able to do anything with it yet, It's got new water lump, fron and rear crossovers so if there's a slow coolant leak it isn't those. With the oem alloy rims and scorpions I'd take 8k.

I'm definitely interested. Could you send me the VIN so I can check it's included features and also photos inside and out? I have a 2014 lr4 and the head gasket just blew on it and I'm devastated. I love the LR4 and thought it may be cheaper to buy than put a new engine in it. :( Also, I'd consider driving it to Minnesota however I'd need to have the leak fixed first. Is there a reputable shop that I could take it to near you?

also, did it overheat? I believe you mentioned the work was preventative in nature vs fixing an established problem?

No, it never overheated or had a leak problem but I followed posts on this forum warning about casastrophic cooling failures when the crossovers ruptured. Seemingly, that happens post-50k mikes, so I thought I might just as well get them changed to be safe. Never had a cooling issue but was told reservoir needed filling so J should check for slow leak. I drove it home and haven't driven since. I have the battery tender hooked up. I doubt I've driven more than a thousand miles in the last two years! I've never done serious off-roading and most of the mileage is highway. I have taken it down logging roads in the Maine woods to hunt grouse but that's about it.

Hi Frank, Were you able to sell your LR4 or is it still for sale? I've sent you a few private chat over the last few weeks and haven't heard back from you, I hope all is well!

I'll try to find your private Chet and get back to you.
