I have a 2001 Land Rover Discovery II with 86,000 miles on the clock. I have trouble with three lights going on at once, with an accompanying 'ding, ding' sound! It was happening once in a while, but now it happens every day at least once. If I turn off the engine for 5 mins. or more, the lights stay off for a long time. They are yellow, not red, and not flashing. They consist of: the downhill light, the ABS light, and the TC light. My front tires are pretty worn. Any bright ideas?

Yeah, it's prob. your wheel speed sensor (one of them you have one on every wheel). You can still drive your truck when it does this, I'm having the same problem with my truck right now - take your truck to Autozone have them read the code so you can narrow it down to what wheel is throwing your code would be your first step, or take it to the dealer like I did the 1st time this happened and prepare to sink your wallet

i know what happening

This is one of your abs sensor ...it doesnt mean that it is broken but more that one of your hub wheel bearing is going to be dead check if any leak if so thats you will need to change it..if no leak check all abs plugs inside the hood for the front for the rear part follow the wire from the wheel you will get attachment somewhere look if metal connectors are ok no rust inside...if so clean them if all connector are ok well thats a sensor that is dead....cheers from canada
