Amsoil signature series since 50k miles. I use all their stuff and can’t say enough about them.

Yeah been using their oil since 04 in my 930. Also use in L322 and Defender. I've called them several times asking when they will certify for for the SCV6 and they just can't say when. My M3 requires a 10/60 which they don't make. I basically use it in everything that I own where it meets the oil spec.

I just did the first change since buying on my 2014, and was able to find Motul JLR 51.5122 specific oil on amazon. And for 9.98 per Liter and free shipping it was the cheapest I've found.

Members “gsxr” and “ktm525” are spot-on with their answers. In fact, all the oils mentioned are top quality. A “spec” is often about licensing fees that an oil company will pay a manufacturer...nothing magical about the oil itself. I posted an invoice I got from my local dealer (on another thread) showing they wanted $110 a quart for transmission fluid!! The owner of Blackstone labs uses “whatever oil is on sale at Walmart “ that his wife buys!! And he doesn’t even use synthetics!
