anyone else have rear windows that don't work?

my rear windows did't work so i was looking around for a new window ecu and found this.

if you click on the 'instructions' tab it tells you exactly what to do with it. i just used a length of wire with a couple connectors and bingo, rear windows work!

That is one way to fix it.. the other is to remove the window ECU and just re-solder the offending bad joint.

I have never seen the jumper wire offered by A.B., can't see how it would help if your board was cracked or a soldier joint has failed.
