Anyone running 20" BFG KO2 without mods? And, there's a new BFG 20" tire option.

I'm getting the same tires and size installed next week. Rather than taking the hitch on/off to get it back in the original location, I'm planning on removing the heat shields and just using some exhaust wrap on the pipes near the tire.

I did a similar thing on my RRS when I fit bigger tires and I never noticed any issues.
Please post the outcome - will you try and store the spare before you remove the heat shields? Rims: are you using some OEM Land Rover rims or aftermarket?

I'll definitely try fitting before removal of the shield, and will post the outcome.

I'm keeping the stock 19" LR4 wheels.

Are you doing 255/60/19? Those will fit stock, probably will fit inflated too.

I am running

Lexani Terrain Beast AT 285/60R20 125 S Tire-on oem rims I blacked out. No mods only very slight rub when backing up with steering pushed all the way to one side. I think it fills the well and looks great

BumbleFK - Looks good! I do like the way they fill up the wheel well. The BFG AT in this size shows 33.5" with rev's per mile of 622 - did you notice much difference in the speedometer vs. actual? What about the spare - we're you able to get the same size tire to fit in the spare tire area?

Well, got the tires on and went to put the spare back, and the stupid spare tire winch failed on me lol

Ordered a new one, should be here Friday and I'll try again then.

Regarding the winch, the same thing happen to me, but I have an old LR3 that I salvaged a winch from. I have learned that you have to keep tension on the winch line when winching back up. My Toyo 255/50/20 tires (31 inch) do not touch the heat shields. Absolutely no tire noise from the tires. So happy

Running 265/65R18 KO2’s on my 2015 TDV6 on MOAB Rims with absolutely no modifications required. Only irritation is that I have to store the spare deflated (did not remove heat shield)

Did not even need to adjust speedo.

I tried multiple different approaches (front of the tire up first, back up first, etc), but on mine a 255/60/19 will not fit with the tire fully inflated and the hitch in place. I removed the shields which bought me a bit of room, but the tire is still pressed up against a part of the underbody/frame.

I don't have the key to remove the hitch so the tire is currently just hanging a bit lower than OEM size. I'll likely deflate the tire once I acquire an air compressor to keep in the vehicle capable of properly inflating it.

Hard to see here, but the back of the tread is caught up on part of the frame:
