Brake Light on ALL the time.

My brake light is on all of the time. What could cause this, and how could I fix it???

2. Bad switch
3. Bad connection

Good luck...there's a lot of wire to check...

Just had it fixed on my 2001 4.0 SE, there is a switch under the stering wheel above the pedals, it is easily replaced and causes the lights to stay on, the switch is pushed when the brake pedal goes down and lights the brakes up, you will get TC and ABS faults when you disconnect it, these will auto clear when you connect the new switch, the cost was about 15 USD here in Dubai
