you could pour a bit of Mystery Oil in the low cylinders and see if they come up. Spin over by hand a few times then re check.
When I did the Chains/Rails/VANOS on my L322, I also did a compression test on the motor, after it had been sitting for a week or so, the numbers were all over the place (100-180). Pour'd a teaspoon or two of Mystery Oil into each cylinder, spun it over by hand a few times, and the compression numbers came up. Once I got it running, I let it cool back down, and took another reading (hot and cold) and the numbers were all in spec, and less than 10% difference.
I'm not sayin you don't have a problem, with compression or somewhere else, just before you focus on compression test result, and tear back into it, I'd pour the oil in, spin over by hand, and retest.
Then before you try and start, pull all the plugs and clean them.
As far as why it's not starting, I don't know enough about these specific engines yet to offer advice, other then checking all of your connections, just the common sense stuff....
