From having the differential bolts not tightened to still not having a long distance reliable transmission to now realizing that the bolts on my cam cover/engine cylinder bank Arent even the right ones, this is where’s I throw in the towel and start doing most of the work my self if not then all. Discovered two days ago that One of the bolts on my cylinder bank isn’t even the correct bolt that’s supposed to be there. Anyone know what the part number of the boat that supposed to be here is? The picture is down below, thanks in advance

Yup that’s it thanks so much. I was looking at the parts.landroverparamus.com have you used it, is it fair priced?

No problem, we’re all here to help each other right :)

As to price, I’ve no idea, and I’ve never used these guys. I’m assuming they’re an authorized dealer so if they have a great price on a component I’d try and get my local dealers to price match it.

Parts list and exploded diagrams are available in a program called "Microcat", available from eBay sellers. It's miserably difficult to navigate and use. As a bonus, many times the part number shown has been superceded to a newer p/n, but the online dealer sites (like the one you linked to) will usually show the new/superceded number when you enter the old number. Sample screen shot below.

I'm 100% sure that's the correct bolt in the correct spot.

Ooh. Looks like you’re good Jimmy, unless you specifically don’t like that stud and nut arrangement.

Interesting, I’ve seen other people engine bays with different bolts on it, weird.

[IMG]Valve cover grommet and stud assembly, however they use what you currently have for wire harness attachments. Hope that's helpful.

Mine has the stud and nut and I know it to be factory as I have owned the truck since new and the valve covers have never been off.
