engine treatment

anybody believes in adding engine treatment(PROLONG ENGINE TREATMENT)in your engine or transmission treatment?i'm a true believer.

5-7 years ago my wife's main bearing of her tranny starts making noise & the dealership suggested that she needs a main bearing(tranny rebuilt) @ 80,000k.i decided to put
transmission treatment after a week the noise went away & 5-7 years later her tranny is still in good working order.

Personally I am a Lucas fan, but the best thing for engines or Transmissions is a good flush and fill engine change every 5k, transmission should be done every 30k if you want them to last. Best practice is good fluids pick your poison I will not argue anyones preference but I like Mobil one. No reasons other than it hasn't failed me yet.
