Has anyone removed all the plastic off a D2? I'm talking around the wheels and the plastic hangy down things around the front and rear bumpers

I removed the plastic sliders off the side and started thinking- what the hell...

It all just seems a little superflous. Maybe I'm crazy.

Also has anyone done anything cool with like a custom bumper or at least chopped up their own front bumper?

I'm looking for cool ideas, without chopping the hell out of mine.

Pictures would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

I have seen alot of D1's and D2's with the plastic removed from the bumpers, I haven't seen anyone remove the plastic sills though, that keeps the sides protected a little.

I plan on either putting solid metal rock sliders on or even getting the ***** area "Rhino-Lined" or "Line-x'ed" for protection. I'm kind of a cheap skate when it comes to some sort of stuff.

I just wonder what a D2 looks like w/o the plastic. I would venture that it looks pretty much like a D1 - but that might be a simple mind thinking simply.
