I was reading the manual last night and came upon some HDC info that I wonder if anyone can comment on.

- It seems like you can engage HDC at speeds of up to 50 MPH (as I recall); what speed will HDC maintain at that engagement speed - 50?

- You can adjust the speed control for HDC (as I recall, using the cruise control +- buttons); is this adjustment just for that engagement of HDC and it goes back to a standard setting the next time you turn it on, or have you permanently altered the HDC speed?

- I've only used HDC for fun with my family and on the rock course during a sample ride at the dealer. The speed was crawling; I'm guessing if you engage it at X speed below 50 MPH, it holds X speed until you turn it off or press the brakes?

I need to get offroad and play with this stuff.

I'm only offroading in wide open fields in which are normal car could drive no problem.

I'm going to the first LR Days I can get into!
