I remember running across a thread that discussed the things to do to mount an oversize spare tire on the factory D2 carrier . . . but now I can't locate it! I vaguely remember something about inverting the stock carrier . . . or something like that.
Does anyone know where I can find this info, and what are other options besides inside the truck or roof-mounted?
I just had 4 245's mounted on the truck and really like the difference from the stock 255 x 65 - 16's. The 245's look better suited to the truck, and once I install taller shocks and springs I think I'll like them even more. They do rub at the end of the steering wheel rotation, but nothing serious.
I'd appreciate any assistance you may provide.
