Brother is moving out to SLC so I figured I'd meet him out in Moab for a little off roading/camping.

He has a 2006 Wrangler with 33s (KO2s)

My Disco 4 has the HD package, 255/60/19 Toyo AT3s, with the option of me lifting with my IID tool. Stock otherwise.

I've done Fins & Things without issue, minus almost exceeding my departure angle on one descent.

Looking for trail recommendations that we're not going to bend metal on (daily drivers)

Thanks!

White Rim Road.

It’s about 100 miles (it’ll take two days) but it’s unbelievable views 100% of the time. You’ll have to book your campsites (they only allow 50 people in per day, we saw two other trucks in 2.5 days).

There’s a few spots that might make you hold the wheel tight but nothing hard. One spot I dropped it into low just to have some more torque with less throttle in a tight spot, but it would have been fine without.

Never needed a spotter, never felt like I was going to break something.

Here’s a quick video on Instagram with clips of the road. The opening and closing shot is just where we camped on the way but all the clips in between are White Rim Road.

Here are a few shots:

Chicken Corners was cool, and took about a half day including lunch. We had the only LR4 on the trail (it was mostly side-by-sides and dirt bikes). But the truck handled it w/o issue.

Onion Creek to Thompson Canyon to La Sal Pass is a great scenic ride.

Gemini Bridges. Fun trail to some epic arches.
Shafer Trail. Excellent views.
Long Canyon. Fun trail through the canyon.
Hey Joe Canyon. Easy trail that drops to the river.

This link has some great info:

I highly recommend you get the Guide to Moab Trails book.
