I purchased my SE in early February and have approximately 900 miles on the vehicle. Just over half of these miles occurred during a ski trip in the Rock Mountains from Denver to Steamboat and the rest from basic city driving. My current MPG is 15.8 overall from the day I drove it off the lot. Not bad but not as good as a demo unit I had for 24 hours prior to the sale were I averaged 18.9 with some "hard driving" during the test drives and that vehicle had 4500+ miles. Can you/the dealer tweek the ECU to improve mileage?

Careful - UK mpg is *not* the same as USA mpg....

I only know mine in litres/100km: 15.9 at the very best; usually worse.

about 650 miles, and on the hwy, I get between 18-20. Of course i am resetting once I am stable at 65mph. Above 70mph to 75mph, the mileage seems to want to fall to 17-18.

Mixed hwy/city driving, like 60%/40%, I am getting avg of 14.

Old Disco = ~4700 lbs. New Disco 3/LR3 = ~5700 lbs. Technology & build has it's price.

that's a good point freeflytim... I better check the actual consumption. Who knows how 'optimistically' the LR3 trip computer is calculating the MPG...

The computer seems pretty accurate, I always compare it at the pump gallons/mileage and it's always been pretty dead on.

2500 mi
16.4 highway open highway ~75mph DC to NYC
15.3 around town/commuting
