Picked up a 2012 LR4 yesterday, with 32 miles on it. I lowered it to access height for the first time today and when I raised it back up it failed to become level (low on driver's side). The compressor ran for a while (2-3 minutes) at which point I shut the engine off (needed to get on with my day).

Upon restarting the compressor didn't run so drove it a bit even though it wasn't level. On the second restart the compressor ran as I drove (2 minute drive) and had stopped when I put it in the garage, but again it still was low on driver's side. I just cycled it thru the access height, normal height procedure again and its still not level, but the compressor stops running after trying to level it for 1 minute.

Anyone have similar experience? My wife and I noticed a burning smell on the passenger side the first day but figured it was something related to the heated seats running for the first time or a coating on the exhaust; would hate to think the compressor burned its ring already.

If you can hear the compressor running but the Rover is still not level suggest might be the air blocks/valves. It's your dealers problem though...

Seriously. Call the dealer, have them put that thing on a flat-bed and take it back. If you have a 24-48 hour state law about returning it, I'd consider picking another vehicle in stock. That's a bad start.

I agree with jptruck - the issues you are having so soon after delivery are NOT normal - call the dealership ASAP and follow up with LRNA if needed.

100% in agreement.
