Hi all! Enjoying my new-to-me '08 LR3. First vehicle with navigation, so I'm just getting used to that. I must be the last person in the US who didn't know the maps need to be manually updated. Who has done this? Is it easy to do yourself? BTW I'm not a technical guy... thanks for your help!

Hi Joey -- thanks for your response. Unfortunately, as a newbie to the forum, I was restricted from posting elsewhere, so thought I would see who I might be able to reach for help here. In the interim, however, I did get info from a fellow rover owner @ my daughter's lacrosse game of all places (old school social networking). Navteq has map updates available: www.updateyourmap.com; I ordered the update, will report back on my experience. Fingers crossed for the technophobe here!

You shouldn't be restricted from posting anywhere as a newbie. Let me know if you are having an issue and I will check to see what it is and fix it.
