Does anybody know how to remove the useless phone cradle from the center console? Failing that, does anybody kow how to remove the 'fridge? I'm tempted to just cut the wires and insulate them to make sure they don't short out. I do use the bluetooth, so I don't want to disrupt that.
TIA

Only a handful of extremely outdated Nokia handsets can be used with the PTI cradle (you also need to purchase an adapter that snaps onto the cradle and interfaces with the phone, good luck finding one through your local dealer but you can try asking them for a list of adapters and phones that are still supported.) Most/all of those few Nokias are not available from wireless providers anymore, so the cradle is basically obsolete. I understand Land Rover will remove it entirely from RR, Disco/LR3 and Sport, starting with MY08.5 or 09.

Looks as thought cutting the wires it is. I'll be sure to yell "commitment!" as I do it! My goal is pretty modest, actually. I'd like to be able to put 16oz water bottles in the fridge.
Thanks

Just a follow up. Cuttting the wires did the trick, everything, including th bluetooth still works fine.

Nope, that's really why I wanted to get rid of the phone, to get more in there. With the phone in place the little plastic tray can only be placed facing up. To get more in the fridge it can be turned over
