I have the half length rubber cargo mat & i want to make cut outs so that I can use the Load Rings with the mat in place. I dont want to ruin the mat so what should I use to cut & exactly what are the correct cuts i make?

D1 or D2? The reason I ask is I am parting out my D1 and it has a factory rear floor rubber. If not use a razor blade.

I would go a step further and suggest you use a cargo type knife, the blade is stronger and wont bend/break.
