Rusty hubs/rotors

My diver's side rear wheel hub looks ridiculous. I don't know if it's surface rust or an odd colored baked on dirt, but it looks a rusty color; unlike the other 3. There is also a new squeaking sound that my rig has started making. It's periodic, meaning it is happening at one of the wheels as it rotates. Happens whether I'm braking or not.

I'm not sure if there is a connection but it's annoying. My dealer recently tried to adjust the EPB for me. Can that be connected to either the noise or the discoloration?

If the rust is on the rotor surface and does not go away after driving, then the brake is not functioning. When the pads come in contact with the rotor, it will quickly remove any surface rust.

Discoloration of brakes can also be caused by high temps, like when a pad is dragging and creating excessive heat. May also be wheel bearings?

well...it's not rust. I cleaned a little patch of it...with saliva! For some reason that particular rotor just got some junk on it and is dirty and discolored. ...and it's probably baked in, too.

No explanation for the noise. I took it to LR today to drive a tech around and of course it almost became inaudible. I'm pretty sure it's not a bearing or anything though and is probably related to the EPB adjustment I got done last week.
