I’ll be honest I own one 2” drop, and another 2” drop that’s upside down (so a 2” raise) and I’ve always used the raised hitch. U-Haul and plenty of other trailers and it’s been great.

Cheaper option than the adjustable ones.

Yep, I got a 2 1/4" drop stinger and ball from U-Haul and flipped the ball around so it's a lift, works great.
