Upgrade Suggestion?

Just picked up 2003 SE7, 22k miles. Since I'm new to the whole rover thing, I'm looking for suggestions on top upgrades for this rig. (exclude lift and tire suggestions as I probably have 2-3 years before I can devote it to an off-road machine)

So where would you spend the first $1k? second $1K? third $1k?

any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

If you do off road at all, first bit of money should go to recovery gear and 1st aid pack.

My money would be spent on a good roof rack next (just to carry all the stuff that will not fit in the back).

then it is up to you. I am thinking of a good tire pressure monitor (about $350 total package)

Maybe rechip the ECU for that little extra power.

Some new seats, so it will ride just a little better (I have a bad back and bad knees)

A good quality Ham radio, then hack it to talk CB and FRS.
