what is the female plug under the hood by the windshield washers for?

Hey there....

I noticed the other day on my 97 Disco, that on the flat area by the windshield washers, above the fire wall, there are two female recepticles, one on the left and one on the right. What are these for?

I may be wrong, but I believe those would be for the optional heated windshield.
