What model years do not have the center differential lock?

What model years of the Discovery Series II do not have the linkage needed to lock the center differential, and what model years do not have the linkage or locking mechanism for the differential altogether?

Should one stay away from those models or do they still perform well off road?

All 99, 2000, most 2001's and the 04s all have the CDL t/case, only the 04 has the shifter.
