These are 255/55’s, and honestly the ride seems slightly smoother than the Nokian WRG3’s they are replacing. Granted the Nokians were worn out but I am very impressed with the ride quality out of these thus far. No noise differences either.

I had my 2010 LR4 HSE LUX with just over 115,000 miles on it detailed this weekend. It looks just like it did coming off the factory floor. The paint shines and wow, did I forget how white the seats normally are!

Got this bad boy yesterday as I was accelerating after pulling out of my driveway.

Car is a 2013 with about 85k miles, no signs of any timing chain issues... The CEL appeared when I started to accelerate.

I've since cleared it and it hasn't come back, but I haven't done much driving since... Hoping this isn't timing chain related.

Just going to add P0016-00 for reference if anyone in the future runs into the same error.

I just had new tires installed! before the snow last week. Nitto Range Grappler 265/60/r18 on compos (replacing BFG K02). I needed to switch from BFG K02 because they are unavailable for at least the next 8-14 weeks. We just had a few snows here in Colorado. They are 50% quieter on the road than the K02 (which is a big deal). I would say they perform on par with the K02 so far which is great. I suspect they will handle mud better, they don't seem to throw the snow as much. They look fantastic.

I drove my 2011 LR4 HSE Lux to the farm...going east from Seattle out the Mountain to Sound Greenway to Fall City. Lovely trip on the way to see my horse.
I carry my saddle, blankets and other tack in the back of my truck with all seats down...COVID causes me to do this.
The ride home was rainy but my sounds, heated seat and steering wheel make the trip even more delightful. Love my Truck HAL3. 189000 miles and counting.

FYI...I got the AAA Premier which gives 200 miles towing, trip interruption and rental if I break down in the wilds of Southeastern Oregon where I view the wild horses.

probably not groundbreaking to most people, but today was the first time i drove my Lr4 in snow. conquered packed snow, traversed over 18"+ plowed mounds, and had no issue with a 6" constant road covering of fresh powder. was able to maintain the speed limit while still nearly whiteout conditions, and felt completely safe. lr4 / snow mode / falken wildpeak tires.

the only shortfall was that i broke my wiper blade rubber when trying to remove ice, but thats my own doing.

Driving the LR4 in snow never gets old for me. We didn’t have nearly as much as you described here in the DC area, but it was fun to get out and get some photos while it lasted. I stayed on side roads and a wooded park area near my home. Great time.
