Okay, how many things have you lost between the driver's seat and the center console?

Coins, credit cards, food, cell phone...and most annoyingly lately, my blue tooth headset! That gap seems to be just large enough to grab anything that gets near it, but is narrow enough at the bottom that it is VERY difficult to recover things without stopping the car and doing it when standing.

I lost my blue tooth down there a couple days ago and it got underneath the rear foot of the seat (there is a metal cover with a pocket just large enough for items to slip into, but too small to see into or get your hand into).

It is annoying enough that I figure someone else has a "fix" for this or can at least share in the gripe!!! :)

Sure, but the seats have a lot of travel making it easier to retrieve lost items.

The fix? Buy a motor cycle ;) or just don't overfill your pockets!

Been there! My best yet is dropping my key down there and then when trrying to get it it pushed back into a little pocket. I had to unbolt the seat to get it out. :hmpf: Lucky I was in my own garage

Wow! That's the extreme, I guess.

My frequent annoyance is dropping a credit card down there when I'm hitting a drive through, toll coins, and the mentioned cell phone and blue tooth earbud. Oy.

I have dropped the key fob down there 2 or 3 times. Usually easy to get out by moving the seat all the way up.

Same here, but on this occasion it landed in just the right spot toward the back of the track. When I tried to grab with it slid back into a pocket near the rear seat bolt that could not be reached even with the seats forward.

....yup, that's a *****. How many old french fries and crumbs did you pull up in the process. It gets gross in that out of reach spot! LOL

Just did a full interior detailing yesterday, and found a pair of my wife's reading glasses between the seat and the center console. Other than that, no other lost items or coins or anything were found.

At least you can get to most of these areas in an LR3. With some of my other vehicles, it was nearly impossible to retrieve lost items from between the seats!

You can also use one of those plumber's tools that's basically a short snake with a grabber at the end. I have one of of those and they are quite handy. You will be able to rescue any key fob with this tool.
